World Book Day Friday 8th March
We will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday 8th March. We will be undertaking a range of fun activities in our classes, from shared reading, author portraits, and character descriptions and designing front covers.
As part of the day we are inviting all children, and staff, to dress as their favourite character for the day. There will be a prize for the best dressed character in each class, we will also present all pupils with the ‘World Book day’ sponsored book token.
There is no cost for this day, and please do not feel pressured into buying a costume, decorate a top or create a cloak; we look forward to seeing the children in their imaginative designs.
We hope the children will learn lots as well as have a fun-packed day.
